Move your Silverlight skills to the web with KnockoutJS
by
Judah Gabriel
2/21/2012 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Regardless of what you believe Silverlight's future may be, it is always wise to extend our skills to multiple platforms. But instead of throwing away all our knowledge built up through Silverlight, what if we could take our existing MVVM and data-binding skills and reuse them on the web? KnockoutJS lets us do exactly that. In this presentation, I'll show you how to use your existing Silverlight skills to build web apps with KnockoutJS.

MVVM has become the defacto standard for XAML-based applications. In this presentation, you'll see how you can use an open-source framework called Caliburn.Micro to enhance your Silverlight-based applications.
