TCSLUG is getting a new website. In this session, Scott Davis will explore the architecture of this new website. We'll see examples of significant code reuse between an ASP.Net MVC application and Silverlight, using Ria Services and shared classes. Finally, we'll discuss the opportunities for user group members to get involved in expanding the new site.

Scott is a seasoned consultant with over a decade of consulting experience on both the Microsoft and Java platforms, involving mostly web application development. Scott began working with Silverlight in the 1.1 Alpha. With experience in desktop, mobility, reporting, database design/development, and project management Scott brings a broad range of technology experience to any project. Scott is currently the owner and principal consultant for Ignition Point Solutions. Recent projects for Scott include writing Silverlight 4.0 and Windows Mobile 6 applications, as well as doing executive-level IT strategy and planning consulting.
